Why network?
Well, Networking can produce positive and concrete results. Networking is all about building relationships, developed over time and through a key business principle-TRUST. Word of mouth or referral marketing is proving to be one of the best forms of marketing. Imagine 40+ like- minded people carrying your business card and referring your business to people they meet because they know respect and trust you.
At the Business Network Sheffield we have almost half of the membership as Platinum members-this means they have been with us for over four years and clearly see the value in developing relationships by regular attendance at our monthly events.
We hold monthly luncheon events in and around Sheffield. These luncheons bring together senior decision makers to both promote their businesses and expand their network of local and regional resources in a dynamic and structured two hour session
How do we do business?
A typical event is likely to include a FREE morning seminar session. This starts at 10 am with a pre seminar networking opportunity followed by an interactive presentation , often delivered by a Network member. This is a great opportunity to showcase your business and also to share some business tips or ideas with fellow members.
The main luncheon event starts at noon with a drinks reception and you are seated for lunch at 12.30 with senior decision makers from several other non competitive businesses. Following a brief introduction by either Paul or Linda each person at your table has the opportunity to explain their company and service in 2 minutes and pass their card around the table.
Each month you sit with a different group, or you may choose to sit with someone specific which we will endeavour to arrange. This interactive session has proved very successful in developing business relationships amongst members.
There follows a session where, armed with your seating plan, you can circulate around the room introducing yourself to appropriate contacts for your business. This can be a lively and dynamic session!
Finally, we will close the lunch with a ‘notice board’ session informing you of any special offers that members wish to promote. Lunch will close at 2pm prompt. You are welcome stay and network or arrange meetings after lunch.
